Description
Search engines often parse text so that words that appear earlier in a sentence are weighted higher than words that appear near the end of a sentence. Page relevancy is calculated by the use of important keywords that describe the page content. A page about a specific topic should use keywords related to that topic at the beginning of the description meta tag instead of using a site name or brand name, because those do not describe the contents on the page.
Recommendation
Place the targeted search term for the page at the front of the description meta tag. Do not use branding terms at the front of the description meta tag, because they are not directly related to the keyword for a given page.
These violations are from the Bing SEO Toolkit, and are the same violations that Bing finds when crawling the internet, it is a safe bet that Google would find much the same violations.
